Facts about the unit:
The Bjørkelunden unit is located in the new care center in Hov, which opened in June 2021. The unit has a total of 24 beds. The Bjørkelunden unit has 16 beds for people with dementia and 8 beds currently occupied by people with disabilities. We have our own sensory garden and modern facilities in a brand-new building. We utilize assistive technology and place a strong emphasis on professional expertise and the development of our services. We collaborate with SAM-AKS and have set aside time for weekly TID reflection sessions on a rotating basis.For us, working according to the principles of person-centered care is just as important as having strong somatic assessment skills. Job Details:
Our new building offers many opportunities related to assistive technology and exciting ways of working. We collaborate with Sykehuset Innlandet Sanderud and use assessment tools via SAM-AKS. If you’re passionate about nursing, it’s worth taking a few extra minutes to consider a job with us. Here, you’ll be able to apply the full range of your professional knowledge and also provide long-term care for residents with varying disease progression, diagnoses, and care needs. The position involves a two-part shift schedule with night and evening shifts, working every fourth weekend or more frequently if you wish. The position is available immediately.Third-year nursing students who are expected to receive their license by this summer are also encouraged to apply.

Requirements:
- Must be a licensed nurse or social care worker
- Additional education may be considered if relevant to the position
- Good oral and written communication skills in Norwegian
Preferred qualifications:
- Advanced training in geriatrics, palliative care, clinical nursing, environmental therapy, or other relevant advanced training
- Professional experience, as well as experience in similar positions, will be considered
- Familiar with the use of relevant IT tools, preferably with experience in the Gerica and Gat systems.
- Knowledge of the relevant legislation for this service area

We offer:
- The position is subject to standard municipal terms and conditions in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and collective agreements, including provisions regarding vacation.
- College supplement for a 3-year degree: NOK 24,000 for a full-time position
- College degree supplement for a 4-year degree: NOK 29,000 for a full-time position
