The position as leisure coordinator is organized in the department of culture, which is part of the municipal area of local communities in Søndre Land municipality.
Facts about the position:
- As a leisure coordinator in Søndre Land municipality, you will be responsible for the coordination and follow-up of the leisure contacts. The position involves helping to ensure that children, young people and adults in need of assistance have meaningful, active leisure time through organized activities and social participation.
- Working hours: Daytime - some evening work must be expected
Work tasks
- Recruitment, training and follow-up of leisure contacts
- Mapping of needs and matching between user and leisure contact
- Collaboration with users, relatives, services and voluntary actors
- Collaboration with other departments, including the allocation office
- Guidance and support for leisure contacts in their assignments
- Case processing, documentation and reporting in professional systems
- Administration of the service, including an overview of hours, registration and payment
- Contribute to the development of inclusive leisure services in the municipality
Requirements:
- Relevant education in health, social or educational subjects. Relevant experience can compensate for education.
- Experience from working with people or other relevant work
- Good Norwegian language skills, both oral and written
- Experience with coordination, guidance or follow-up
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Good digital skills and the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new systems
Requirements:
- Experience using Gerica
- Experience working with leisure contacts or similar work
