Furubakken consists of 18 apartments where round-the-clock care is provided to people with various needs for assistance in their daily lives.
Furubakken is a unit within the Hovlitunet care center, which opened in June 2021. We are committed to providing person-centered care with a focus on activities and empowerment.
Job details:
- Furubakken has a full-time (100%) opening for a nurse/social care worker, with start date to be agreed upon.
- The position involves rotating shifts, including work every third weekend.
Job Responsibilities
- Personal care and nursing
- Preparation and serving of meals
- Administration of medications
- Nursing follow-up of medical interventions
- Supervision of colleagues
- Environmental work
- Providing practical assistance in the home
- Activity planning
- Documentation. We use Gerica
- Use of assistive technology
Requirements:
- Licensed as a nurse or social care worker
- Good computer skills, preferably with experience in the Gerica and Gat systems
- Proficient in written and spoken Norwegian
Preferred requirements:
- Experience from similar positions

- Valid police certificate in accordance with the Health and Care Services Act § 5-4, first paragraph. See the Health Personnel Act § 20a, second paragraph; this must be submitted before starting work.
- Applicants with foreign education must have approval from the Norwegian Directorate for Higher Education and Competence (HK-dir) to be eligible for a permanent position.
- Prior to starting employment, a self-declaration regarding tuberculosis, MRSA, and measles must be submitted in accordance with applicable regulations.
- Certified copies of diplomas and certificates must be presented at the interview and upon request.
