Odnes School is a nature and culture school with around 100 students in grades 1-7. The school is beautifully situated between Odnesberget and Randsfjorden. Around the school there are many nice excursion destinations in varied nature. Odnes School is an active part of the local community and village. Duties:
- Organize and initiate varied and inclusive play and learning activities indoors and outdoors
- Develop pupils' academic and social skills
- Build positive relationships with children, and show interest in each individual child and their situation
- Mediate in conflict situations and help children find good solutions themselves
- Collaborate with teachers and guardians
Requirements:
- A professional certificate as a child and youth worker is desirable, but other relevant education and experience will also be considered.
- You must have very good Norwegian language skills, both oral and written
- Experience with children and young people of school age
Requirements:
- Experience with children and young people of school age
- Experience working with children with special needs is desirable
- Experience from COS or similar that is about seeing each individual student, recognizing their feelings and helping them deal with challenges
