Rognlia is a unit at the Hovlitunet Care Center that currently consists of 24 round-the-clock staffed care residences in a new, modern, and specially adapted building. Here, we provide healthcare and practical assistance to patients with various care needs.
Job Details:
- 100% permanent position.
- The unit operates on a rotating shift schedule, and there are ample opportunities to customize your schedule.
- We use the Gerica medical record system, the Compilo quality management system, and the Sensio alert system.
- We collaborate across departments and actively engage in interdisciplinary cooperation and the use of assistive technology solutions.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide home health care and practical assistance as determined by official decisions.
- Provide comprehensive and professionally sound care and support.
- Ensure user involvement and help clients manage their daily lives.
- Documentation.
- Interdisciplinary collaboration with other professional groups.
- Work in accordance with current routine descriptions and procedures in our quality system.
- Collaborate with family members and volunteers.
- Stay professionally up-to-date and contribute to professional development in the workplace.
- Be a driving force for the development of new methods and the testing/implementation of changes.
- Mentor employees and students/trainees.
- Contribute to a positive work environment.
Required qualifications:
- License as a healthcare worker or equivalent.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in Norwegian
- Strong IT skills, preferably experience with Outlook, Gerica, and Gat
Preferred qualifications:
- Further education in geriatrics, palliative care, clinical health sciences, mental health and substance abuse, or environmental therapy is desirable.
- Knowledge of current legislation relevant to the service area.
- Work experience in similar positions.
