Framnesveien is a residential facility for people with substance use and mental health disorders.
Job Details:
- 100% permanent position as a healthcare assistant
- Rotating shifts including day, evening, and weekend work
Job responsibilities
- Supporting the living environment and providing close daily care for residents
- Administering and dispensing medication according to established procedures
- Documentation in the professional system
- Support for self-management, structure, activities, and practical tasks
- Prevention and management of crises
- Setting boundaries in a calm and respectful manner
- Collaboration with family members, primary care physicians, specialist health services, and other partners
- Practical tasks related to the residence
Required qualifications:
- Certificate as a healthcare assistant
- Experience working in substance abuse and mental health care. Extensive and relevant experience will be given special consideration.
- Experience with dispensing and administering medication
- Knowledge of documentation and medical record systems
- Class B driver’s license
- Good Norwegian language skills, both written and oral
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with environmental care and ADL support

- A police background check, as required by Section 5-4 of the Health and Care Services Act, must be presented prior to employment.
- Prior to starting the position, a self-declaration regarding tuberculosis, MRSA, and measles must be submitted in accordance with applicable regulations.
- Applicants with foreign education must have approval from the Norwegian Directorate for Higher Education and Competence (HK-dir) to be eligible for a permanent position.
- Certified copies of diplomas and certificates must be presented at the interview and upon request.
