Sparebank 1 Østlandet is strengthening its focus on agriculture and is looking for an agricultural manager in the market area of Buskerud, Asker and Bærum. We are looking for you who have knowledge of agriculture. And who want to work actively to establish new customers for the bank.
The bank has over time built up considerable expertise in agriculture. You will be an important part of our professional environment related to agriculture in the bank.
You thrive on creating results together with others. You are passionate about giving customers positive experiences and creating solutions that give agricultural customers the opportunity to succeed. At the same time, you have a good understanding of credit and are analytical. The tasks are varied and range from building relationships with customers to credit analysis and follow-up of commitments.
The position reports to the Regional Director in Oslo/Akershus/Buskerud.
Tasks
- Responsibility for and development of own customer portfolio consisting of agricultural customers in the region.
- Case investigation with credit assessments and analyzes, preparation of credit cases for own or higher decision.
- Contribute to value creation for our customers together with the bank's other product areas and subsidiaries.
- Build relationships with existing and new customers to strengthen the bank's position. Contribute to building the bank's brand.
- Represent the bank in various forums within the industry.
- Outreach and proactive work towards new and existing agricultural customers.
Qualifications
- Relevant education in agriculture and economics at bachelor's or master's level. Relevant experience can compensate for education.
- Good understanding of accounting, analytical and structured with experience in using modeling tools for analytical work
- Competence/interest in digital solutions so that you can guide customers in the use of the bank's solutions.
- Relevant experience from, for example, finance, auditing or other business activities within the agricultural industry
- Good knowledge of business/agriculture in the region
- Good oral and written communication skills
