We are looking for an Executive Vice President for Technology and Development who will lead this work, in close collaboration with SpareBank 1 Utvikling, our important partner and supplier in the alliance. The position is based in the bank's premises in Hamar, but has employees both in Hamar and in central Oslo. Office location Oslo can also be considered, and some travel will have to be expected.

About the job

In the role of Executive Vice President for Technology and Development at SpareBank 1 Østlandet, you are part of the group management and report to the CEO. You will lead a unit consisting of the disciplines IT, information security/CISO, innovation, advanced analytics, data and insights, robotization and product and solution development, outsourcing and strategic projects.

Your main tasks will include:

• Leading through collaboration and development and creating pride and well-being.
  
• Build strong team spirit within the division and ensure good plans to deliver on the strategy in close collaboration with the business divisions.
  
• Initiate and implement decisions that support the bank's goals within cost efficiency and realization of synergies.
  
• Be the bank's representative in the SpareBank 1 alliance's various forums and actively contribute to increased implementation power and collaboration in the alliance.
  
• Design and implement technology strategies that improve our operational processes and ensure good interaction between customers, employees and technology, but which also drive innovation forward.
  
• Ensure that all technology initiatives comply with applicable legislation and regulations specific to the financial sector, and ensure good documentation and understanding of these requirements, including in line with DORA regulations.
  
• Drive collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders and partners to achieve organizational goals and maximize efficiency.
  
• Lead the development of digital solutions that contribute to the differentiation of our brand and competitive position, improve the customer experience and agilely adapt to new trends and market developments.

Who are we looking for

• You have a solid technical background and a master's degree, preferably in technology/IT. Your experience makes you well equipped to lead our technological development in close collaboration and as an active contributor to the SpareBank 1 alliance. Together with the alliance, we are building the best technical solutions for the future. You have significant leadership experience with both authority and the ability to inspire and motivate your team.
