SpareBank 1 Østlandet is a listed savings bank with a strong focus on delivering on financial targets. We are looking for a person with a financial and economic background and solid work experience to work in a newly established department for financial business management and improvement.
You will initiate and drive change processes that contribute to increased profitability in the group. Your main task will be to plan, implement and lead financial improvement projects in the bank, where cost management and efficiency improvement will be particularly important. We are looking for someone who is triggered by the opportunity to influence and improve, and who dares to challenge.
Much of the work will take place across units in the bank, so you must also have good collaboration skills. You will help ensure that the Group has effective and relevant processes and systems for financial management and improvement work, so you must like numbers and structure. You'll report to the Head of Financial Management, but you'll also be directly involved in projects for the CEO and CFO. Tasks
- Plan, implement and lead financial improvement projects.
- Point of contact for the bank's cost management and cost efficiency.
- Drive processes for annual investment budgets and financial guidelines for the bank's divisions.
- Develop and maintain forecast, budget and management models.
- Contribute to effective and relevant processes and systems for financial management and improvement work.
- Analyze drivers of the bank's financial performance.
- Assist the CEO and CFO with analytical basis for regular business reviews.
Qualifications
- Higher economic education (master's level).
- Strong economic, financial and strategic understanding.
- Broad experience from relevant projects within cost efficiency and financial management, preferably from a consulting company at manager level or equivalent.
- Competence to prepare and develop budget and forecast models for use in financial business management.
- Solid IT skills, including use of Excel, Powerpoint and use of BI tools.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
