Are you the one?

Are you looking for an opportunity to combine service, administration and practical responsibility - while being part of a historic industrial future project? Now is your chance! We are looking for a driving and self-driven office manager for Service Team TO, a newly formed team within SSAB's Transformation Office that supports the organization and our suppliers when the new steel plant in Luleå is being built. You will be a central function in the project area and are an important part of creating a well-functioning, safe and pleasant working environment for hundreds of employees.

Becoming part of the SSAB family means joining a journey. A journey that we believe is crucial for the future of the planet and sustainability. Steel has been one of the most important materials for the development of our society and will continue to be so in the future. In our homes, in bridges connecting our cities and in the cars of tomorrow. At SSAB, we are proud of our history and our leadership in high strength steel. At the same time, we are aware that steel production is one of the industries that emits the most greenhouse gases in the world. This must change. We have therefore developed the world's first fossil-free process for steel production and are committed to becoming largely fossil-free. As part of SSAB, you will be important in realizing this goal and thus contribute to a green transition of the entire steel industry.

As office manager, you will be the face of our two brand new office complexes and changing modules. You will ensure that the premises function properly, that the areas are used efficiently and that the working environment is of a high standard.

The role combines hospitality, practical work, coordination and administration - where you contribute every day to the smooth running of a large and complex project.

You work closely with the supplier of office and changing facilities and have regular contact with building contractors, installation suppliers and other functions within the Transformation Office.

Your main responsibilities

  • Ensure a well-functioning and pleasant office environment - order, equipment, function.
  • Responsible for daily office operations, materials and procedures.
  • Initiate safety rounds and contribute to safe working environment through risk reporting and follow-ups.
  • Coordinate office logistics such as space, transport, deliveries and resources.
  • Follow up and optimize utilization of office and changing facilities.
  • Provide service and support to internal teams, external visitors and suppliers.
  • Coordinate with suppliers of office, construction services, machine services and other service functions.
  • Contribute to a positive climate and a welcoming reception on site.
