Together, in close collaboration with the production unit, we deliver qualified services of a world-class maintenance.

At SSAB, we have a group-organized way of working, which places demands on your and the work group's ability to independently drive the work process from planning to execution and follow-up.

You will also be involved in one of our ongoing investment projects. As a technician in electricity and automation, you are an important cog in the work towards a higher degree of automatic condition-based maintenance. Since you are technically knowledgeable in your field, you are helpful with questions from the entire production organization linked to maintenance.

Your main responsibilities

• Preventive maintenance
• Deeper troubleshooting
• Fault analysis
• Development of existing equipment and systems

About you

• You have a technical education in electricity and automation at least at upper secondary level combined with a few years of work experience. We would like to see that you have experience from industry, the process industry or similar activities. It is an advantage if you have an academic education in the field or equivalent relevant education. If you have also worked with IBA, Siemens S7, S7-Classic, S7-TIA Portal, Siemens WinCC and AC drives or similar tasks, it is an advantage, but not a requirement. It is also desirable that you have experience of networks and IT systems.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English is a requirement as documentation and communication with suppliers takes place in these languages. Driving license B is a requirement for the service.
• We place great emphasis on personal qualities and for the position of electrical technician we are looking for a careful and structured person. To thrive in the role, we believe that you have the ability to work both independently and in groups. As you will work closely with both external and internal colleagues, we are looking for you who are communicative and feel confident in contacting different roles linked to the business, both internal and external.
• We expect you to have the willingness to take responsibility for the process of format cutting and to contribute with excellence and initiative as an automation technician. Functional responsibility means that electricity, in collaboration with IT, hydraulics and mechanics, collaborates across borders and is responsible for the work in format and here you can also be expected to keep the work together in smaller, temporary teams to solve tasks in, for example, troubleshooting and diagnostics.
