About the position

SSAB is in an expansive phase and is building for the future with several investments and rebuilds.

Your role includes tasks such as preventive and planned maintenance, deeper troubleshooting, fault analysis and improvement of existing equipment and systems. As an electrical and automation technician, you are an important cog in the work towards a higher degree of digitalized condition-based maintenance. Since you are technically skilled in your field, you are helpful with questions from the entire production organization linked to maintenance.

You can also be involved in projects linked to the maintenance work or the production process where you sometimes have a leading and coordinating role. The work is to some extent independent, but great emphasis is placed on cooperation both in your own team and also the ability to work between other teams to drive and develop the section's activities.

We apply a group-organized way of working and you will belong to a team with a total of 11-12 technicians.

About you

• We are looking for you who have a technical education in electricity and automation, at least at upper secondary level, combined with a few years of experience from, for example, the process industry or similar activities. If you also have an academic education in the field, or other relevant post-secondary education, we see it as meritorious.
• You have excellence in electrical engineering
• Good knowledge of both Swedish and English, both orally and in writing
• It is meritorious if you have experience of working with systems such as Siemens S7, Siemens PCS7, ABB AC450, ABB 800xA, ACS600, ACS800, ACS880, as well as with instrument and combustion technology and AC / DC drive systems. Knowledge of networks and IT systems is also desirable, but not a requirement.
• To thrive in the role, we see that you have good communication skills, are structured and careful in your work. You are self-driven but also enjoy working in a team.
• Since the role requires some mobility, a B driving license is a requirement.
