Are you the one?

Do you like to be close to the action and find new solutions to different problems? Do you want the opportunity to develop within a company that leads the transition to fossil-free steel? Then the role of coordinator for Support & Service in Luleå may be something for you. Location Luleå.

Becoming part of the SSAB family means joining a journey. A journey that we believe is crucial for the future of the planet and sustainability. Steel has been one of the most important materials for the development of our society and will continue to be so in the future. In our homes, in bridges connecting our cities and in the cars of tomorrow. At SSAB, we are proud of our history and our leadership in high strength steel. At the same time, we are aware that steel production is one of the industries that emits the most greenhouse gases in the world. This must change. We have therefore developed the world's first fossil-free process for steel production and around 2030 we will be largely fossil-free. As part of SSAB, you will be important in realizing this goal and thus contribute to a green transition of the entire steel industry.

SSAB Luleå will in the next few years change its steel production - one of the biggest industrial changes in modern times. It will mean new conditions and requirements in many different areas.

As a coordinator, you are part of the new Support & Service section and will be an important link between today's business and the conversion project. You are a key person who makes things happen by solving practical tasks that require local knowledge of SSAB Luleå's working methods, routines and contact routes.

For example, it can be about supporting the establishment of contractors, ensuring that signage and signposting work and creating the right contacts between different functions.

Your main responsibilities

  • You are present where it happens and contribute to good communication and collaboration between production and the conversion project.
  • You support the business in developing new or revising working methods and procedures.
  • Depending on the type and scope of tasks, you carry them out yourself or order services from external or internal suppliers.
  • You contribute to a structured way of working within the section and ensure that everyday life flows.

About you

  • You have a flexible mindset with the ability to quickly adapt to changing circumstances and can self-navigate in new areas. You are action-oriented and ensure that tasks are carried out efficiently and effectively.
  • You are a person who is open, positive and a responsive team player with a good ability to work closely with other people.
  • As we work in an international environment, you need to be able to speak and write both English and Swedish.
  • Driving license B is a requirement.
  • You enjoy being on site close to the business - where it happens. The pace is fast and the work is done in close collaboration with many different functions, which requires structure, communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience from an industrial environment, coordination or service function is an advantage.
