About the position

You will belong to the System Development department within the Strategy unit. The unit also consists of the Digital Transformation department.

You will work in an agile team. The team currently consists of 8 system developers, 4 internal and 4 consultants.As a system developer with us, you work closely with production and operations with the development and management of systems that are production-critical for SSAB. Our solutions are used around the clock in an industrial environment where stability, quality and safety are crucial.

Your main responsibilities

• Develop and manage proprietary systems that support production and processes
• Collaborate closely with colleagues and other stakeholders
• Contribute to common ways of working, technical choices and improvements
• Ensure that solutions meet quality, security and availability requirements

About you

• You have a technical education as a university engineer
• You have Fullstack experience (Frontend,Backend, Devops).
• You have knowledge and practical experience working with .Net/C# and Linux
• You thrive on collaboration and knowledge sharing in teams
• You are communicative and humble and are used to talking to users and other stakeholders
• You are interested in new technologies but at the same time not afraid to work with legacy code

• Menhancing
• Worked with C++, React, Kubernetes, AI-supported development
• Experience from SSAB or other industry with complex environments
