The hot rolling mill consists of material handling, heating, rolling and cooling, reeling and quality. Together with the rest of the organization, you develop the business with safety in the greatest focus. You will be part of the reeling section in the Hot Rolling Mill.

As an operations assistant, you will help our operators in their daily work, and support the change and development that takes place over time. The operations assistant is usually the operators' first contact in the event of operational disruptions and development work.

You will have a responsible job with varied tasks in a team with a good community where there are good opportunities for both personal and professional development.

Through active improvement work, you are involved and contribute to continuously improving safety and quality.

Your main responsibilities

  • Collaborate and support operators and maintenance in everyday life to achieve stability in production.
  • Ensure a good working environment.
  • Replace the section manager in his absence.
  • Drive active improvement work.
  • Have a close collaboration with maintenance and other support functions.

About you

  • You have an easy time communicating with people at different levels and in different roles.
  • You have an interest in technology, people and working methods and want to learn new things and have the ability to teach others.

  • We assume that you have good computer skills and can express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish and English.
  • You are interested in developing operations, working methods and people as part of continuous improvements.
