You will, together with your colleagues, work with electrical design, both new construction and modification of existing drawings/plants, problem solving, plant development, documentation, training and commissioning of machines in our plants.

You mainly participate in two different workflows in the form of projects and in work order flow.

Collaboration with the production sections/departments is important and your most common contacts will consist of maintenance technicians, operating technicians and external suppliers, but you will also have contact with, for example, purchasing, internal staff and contractors.

You will belong to the Technical Electrical / Mechanical section in the Technical Sheet Metal department. In the section, there are about 30 electrical and mechanical engineers who work towards the rolling mill's facilities. We work in area groups where mechanical, electrical and system designers work together with four different production departments.

We offer you developing and stimulating days where you, together with other designers, are responsible for the electrical design and function of machines and plants within the rolling mill. With us, you get the opportunity to get close to reality and follow projects from idea to commissioning.

Your main responsibilities

• Perform electrical design according to established standards.
• Commissioning of machines and plants.
• Review drawing documents and validate safety solutions.
• Assist in the development of plant and working methods.
• Contribute with technical expertise when needed, for example in the case of complex solutions.
• Conduct risk assessment and orders linked to work orders/projects.
• Archive the drawings and electrical documentation.

About you

• You have a degree in electrical engineering or equivalent knowledge gained through experience and several years of documented experience in electrical engineering. We see it as a strong merit if you have experience from the manufacturing industry.
• You thrive on technical challenges, you have the ability to quickly understand complex problems and are solution-oriented in your work.
• You plan and organize your own work, are driven and have the ability to make your own decisions.
• Good collaboration skills are important and you have an open approach, are responsive and adapt solutions to needs that arise.
• You are fluent in Swedish and English and have good verbal and written communication skills.
