We are now looking for someone who wants to work on planning electrical maintenance for SSAB’s metallurgical facilities. You’ll have the opportunity to work in an exciting industrial environment with a strong focus on safety, the environment, and quality. You’ll provide technical support to daytime electricians as well as to the emergency response team working shifts. The position is based in Oxelösund.

This is a varied role where safety and operational improvement are the focus. You’ll have the opportunity to work with colleagues across different operations and be part of SSAB’s journey toward fossil-free steel. The team you’ll be joining consists of 7 technicians and 19 electricians, 8 of whom are generalists. You’ll work on preparing and planning electrical maintenance tasks and facility improvements. Troubleshooting and fault resolution on-site at the facilities are also part of the role.

Your main responsibilities

• Conduct preventive maintenance and improvement work.
• Analyze any disruptions that arise and develop proposed solutions.
• Plan maintenance shutdowns in consultation with the operations team.
• Stay updated daily on the status of the facilities.
• Participate in facility projects.
• Develop proposals for a long-term maintenance plan and budget for your area.
• Serve as the electrical operations manager for your area of responsibility.

About You

• You are an electrician or electrical technician with several years of experience.
• You have an interest in technology and want to work with development and improvements.
• You thrive in a coordinating role that involves both administrative and hands-on tasks.
• You are a team player and value communication and collaboration.
• You enjoy varied workdays and new challenges.
