We are now building the organization for the new fossil-free steel mill. We are looking for an electrical engineer in the Cold Flow and Maintenance department. An important part of your work will be to develop not only your own role but also many of our future positions, as well as the design of our new facilities. You will serve as a key liaison between the operations organization and the Transformation Office, as well as with equipment suppliers in certain cases.
Becoming part of the SSAB family means embarking on a journey. A journey that we believe is crucial for the planet’s future and sustainability. Steel has been one of the most important materials for the development of our society and will continue to be so in the future—in our homes, in the bridges that connect our cities, and in the cars of tomorrow. At SSAB, we’re proud of our history and our leadership in high-strength steel. At the same time, we’re aware that steel production is one of the industries that emits the most greenhouse gases in the world. That has to change. We have therefore developed the world’s first fossil-free steel production process and are committed to becoming largely fossil-free. As part of SSAB, you will play a key role in achieving this goal and thereby contribute to the green transition of the entire steel industry.
