Do you like to drive and develop maintenance work, mainly in electricity together with competent colleagues? Then you may be the one we are looking for. Welcome with your application already today. Location Borlänge

Becoming part of the SSAB family means joining us on a journey. A journey that we believe is crucial for the future of the planet and sustainability. Steel has been one of the most important materials for the development of our society and will continue to be so in the future. In our homes, in bridges connecting our cities and in the cars of tomorrow. At SSAB, we are proud of our history and our leadership in high strength steel. At the same time, we are aware that steel production is one of the industries that emits the most greenhouse gases in the world. This must change. We have therefore developed the world's first fossil-free process for steel production and are committed to becoming largely fossil-free. As part of SSAB, you will be important in realizing this goal and thus contribute to a green transition of the entire steel industry.

The work as an electrician involves troubleshooting and remedial measures in our plants. In the role as an electrician at varmvals, you perform plant-related work in the form of both remedial and preventive maintenance. The remedial maintenance aims to restore the plant to production status, while the preventive maintenance focuses on reducing the risk of future operational disturbances and ensuring stable and safe production.

The work also includes systematic improvement work with a focus on continuous improvements and planning and implementation of preventive measures.

The work tasks include troubleshooting, performing maintenance measures, reading drawings, root cause analysis and planning and preparation of own work in the IFS maintenance system.

The deadline for applications is March 1, but apply today as selection and interviews are ongoing and the recruitment will be closed when we have found the candidate we are looking for.
