About the position

As an environmental engineer, you belong to the Business Development department, section Environment. We are responsible for permit and notification cases and work continuously to improve the environmental performance of the business. We have an exciting task ahead of us: to drive environmental issues linked to the development and transition of operations in Luleå in the coming years. Your main responsibilities

• Support the line organization with specialist expertise in the environmental field.
• Handle permit and notification cases.
• Participate as an expert in projects in the environmental field.
• Responsible for follow-up, analysis, calculations and reporting.
• Drive investigations and surveys.
• Assist in internal investigations of deviations and incidents.

About you

• You have a relevant university degree in, for example, the environment, chemistry, process or natural sciences.
• You have experience of environment-related tasks, experience of noise and/or carbon dioxide reporting is merited.
• You have knowledge of environmental legislation and permit processes.
• You have a good command of Swedish and English in both speech and writing and can communicate clearly and easily.
• You have the ability to analyze and solve complex environmental issues.
• You have good communication skills and are used to working in teams.
• Experience from industry, government or as a consultant is an advantage.
• We would like you to have knowledge of the Power-BI work tool.
