SSAB is now looking for a committed and energetic Facility & Site Support to join our newly formed Service Team within the Transformation Office in Luleå.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of one of Sweden's largest industrial future projects - the construction of SSAB's new steel mill in Luleå.

In the role of Facility & Site Support as part of the Service Team TO, whose mission is to provide practical support to SSAB's organization and our subcontractors in the implementation of the project.

The team is responsible for:

  • Office and changing modules.
  • Project vehicles.
  • Electrical maintenance and PSU.
  • Skidding, wayfinding and anti-slip.
  • Practical support to the various functions of the project

As Facility & Site Support, you are a key person in creating a safe, well-functioning and pleasant working environment - both indoors and outdoors. The role is broad, hands-on and varied, and you will be a central part of the daily progress of the project.

Your main responsibilities

  • Perform practical tasks such as snow clearing, anti-slip, signage and simple repairs.
  • Assist with redecoration and equipment installation.
  • Prevent risks by participating in safety rounds and addressing deficiencies.
  • Report incidents and contribute to a safe way of working.
  • Together with the Team Leader, be the contact person for practical issues.
  • Collaborate with the service team and the project organization.
  • Ensure a high level of service and a positive treatment of internal and external customers.

About you

We are looking for you who have

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in service, operation, property maintenance or similar practical work.
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English.
  • B-driving license.
  • A minimum of upper secondary education.
  • Good communication skills.
  • A service-oriented, self-driven and proactive approach.
  • Structure, problem-solving skills and drive.

Advantageous

  • Experience from construction projects or industrial environment.
  • Experience working in an international environment.
