About the position

Now we are looking for a Section Manager for Maintenance Electric Format at SSAB in Borlänge who wants to help shape the steel industry of the future. The section is responsible for planned remedial maintenance work in the electrical area during operational and maintenance stops in the business. Production Format cuts hot-rolled and cold-rolled sheet according to customer requirements. Format cutting takes place today in four cutting lines that are adapted to cut different types of steel and dimensions.

You will lead a daytime group of 11 people who have expertise in electricity and automation. You have the maintenance responsibility in the electrical area for an operation that produces around the clock. You are expected to be part of the work on the development of preventive maintenance on format.

Collaboration with operations and the other activities in Borlänge is a prerequisite for the success of the assignment. You will be part of the maintenance hot rollers and formats management team with great opportunity to influence and develop.

About you

  • You are technically interested and have experience in maintenance, industry or process industry.
  • You have previous work experience as a manager / leader. If you have training or experience in leading change, this is an advantage.

  • You can communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, and you have a B driving license
