About the position

As Head of Energy & Media, you will be responsible for leading and developing the operations within energy and media systems at the Raw Iron department. The role involves responsibility for people, facilities and working methods where safety, availability and long-term development are in focus.

You lead a group of employees in the area and work closely with both operations, maintenance and other functions to ensure stable and safe delivery of media and energy to the business. The role involves a present and coaching leadership where you contribute to developing both the team and the business forward.

You have overall responsibility for the work environment, budget, investments and operational safety in your area and at the same time drive improvement and development work linked to facilities, processes and working methods.

As Head of Energy & Media, you are part of the management team for the business and will be an important part of both the existing production system and SSAB's continued development and transition.

The working hours are daytime and the location is Luleå.

Your main areas of responsibility

- Lead and develop the business within Energy & Media with a focus on safety and reliability; Media with a focus on safety, reliability and performance

- Responsible for the work environment, environment, budget, investments and long-term planning in the area

- Ensure stable and safe delivery of media and energy to the business

- Drive improvement work and develop working methods, processes and facilities

- Coach and develop employees and create commitment and participation in the group

- Interact closely with operations, maintenance and other functions within the business

About you

- Civil engineering education or equivalent is meritorious

- Previous experience of plant ownership, preferably in energy and media or equivalent, is meritorious

- Previous experience of leadership in some form is meritorious

- You are responsible, committed and have a genuine interest in technology, processes and facilities

- You have good interpersonal skills and thrive in a role with many interfaces and close cooperation with different parts of the business

- You are a clear leader who creates direction by translating strategy into concrete priorities, develop teams through trust and participation and drive results through responsibility and commitment

- You are fluent in Swedish and English in speech and writing
