Do you want to step into a new role as Head of HR Service at SSAB where you can help shape our HR service function in a time of development and change? About the position

You will be responsible for our HR Service function that supports SSAB in Sweden with HR administrative processes.

In this role, you will ensure that SSAB in Sweden delivers professional operational HR support in systems, reporting, HR, recruitment and training administration. You will report directly to the Head of HR Sweden and be part of a management team with three management colleagues, where responsibilities include negotiation, payroll, pension and compensation and benefits.

Travel is a regular part of the role.

Your main responsibilities

The overall mission of this role is to ensure efficient and quality administrative delivery through clear processes, optimized workflows and continuous improvement in close collaboration with internal stakeholders.

  • You will have a unique opportunity to lead and develop a committed and self-driven team of experienced HR specialists.
  • You will play a key role in driving development work together with your team, jointly implementing new systems and refining processes.
  • You will drive and participate in improvement projects in cross-functional teams with a clear focus on creating value for the business.

About you

  • To succeed in the role, we believe you have experience in leadership roles alt. as a project manager
  • You are a person with an operational vein who thrives on driving development and change work
  • We believe you have handled and have experience of change management work within the organization, people or implementation of new systems - preferably in cross-functional contexts.
  • As a person, you are curious about systems and have the ability to put knowledge into practice and spread it in the organization.
  • If you are a Do-er, you will go far - we are looking for you who have a natural ability to lift others and can roll up your sleeves and work closely with the group in ups and downs
  • You have a good command of English in speech and writing.
  • Relevant higher education is a merit
