About the position

Your section Maintenance Coking Plant includes responsibility for three sections: Mechanical Maintenance, Electrical Maintenance and Media Maintenance - a total of just over 45 employees, including 3 managers. The position is part of the management team for the Coke Plant department.

As a section manager, you are responsible for your staff's working environment, you are responsible for the plant, which includes operational safety and budget and investments. Together with your colleagues, you are expected to break down SSAB's strategy into local action plans, goals and KPIs and follow up on each area's contribution to it. You will also have a significant role in the strategic work towards the coking plant's change journey towards the fossil-free transition.

As a leader, you are coaching and driven by seeing other people develop. You are also good at implementing and following up on decisions made. Working in a systematic way with continuous improvements is a matter of course for you.

Your main responsibilities

• Translate SSAB's strategy into local goals and action plans.
• Lead and follow up maintenance and investment plans.
• Responsible for work environment, budget and investments.
• Ensure operational safety and function in the facilities.
• Develop working methods for remedial, preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Develop safety work in the area of responsibility.
• Collaborate with production for effective communication

About you

• You have experience as a manager and leader, preferably in industry.
• You have a coaching leadership and want to develop both people and business.
• You are used to leading in change and dealing with complex situations.
• You are confident, clear and structured in your way of working.
• You have good collaboration skills and are communicative.
• You have a university degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• You are fluent in spoken and written Swedish and English.
• Experience with projects, maintenance work or SSAB's maintenance processes is an advantage.
