About the position

As Head of Mechanical Maintenance at Koksverket, you will have a central role in planning, leading and developing mechanical maintenance. You are responsible for ensuring, together with your team, high availability and operational reliability in production. The role involves driving improvement work, developing working methods and creating a working environment characterized by cooperation, safety and commitment.

You report to the Maintenance Manager of the Coking Plant and are part of the management team, which gives you good opportunities to influence both strategy and working methods. You work closely with the operations organization, maintenance planners and other functions within SSAB.

Your main responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the mechanical maintenance at Koksverket
  • Ensure high availability and reliability in close cooperation with production
  • Drive improvement work and develop working methods and processes
  • Create an inspiring and safe working environment
  • Develop the team's competence and commitment

About you

  • You have experience working as a manager, preferably in maintenance or industry
  • You have a post-secondary education in a relevant technical field, or equivalent experience
  • You are a clear, driving and strategic leader with good communication skills
  • You thrive in a changing environment and have the ability to structure, prioritize and create results
  • You are responsive, positive and easy to collaborate with different functions
  • You are fluent in spoken and written Swedish and English
