Are you a confident and analytical leader who is passionate about change and people? With us, you will have the opportunity to combine your interest in technology with your drive to help your employees develop and thrive in their roles. In an organization under constant change. Location Borlänge
Becoming part of the SSAB family means joining us on a journey. A journey that we believe is crucial for the future of the planet and sustainability. Steel has been one of the most important materials for the development of our society and will continue to be so in the future. In our homes, in bridges connecting our cities and in the cars of tomorrow. At SSAB, we are proud of our history and our leadership in high strength steel. At the same time, we are aware that steel production is one of the industries that emits the most greenhouse gases in the world. This must change. We have therefore developed the world's first fossil-free process for steel production and are committed to becoming largely fossil-free. As part of SSAB, you will play an important role in realizing this goal and thus contribute to the green transition of the entire steel industry.
About the position
The Production Planning department is currently responsible for the daily planning of some of our production lines, while we are developing and implementing a new planning system to plan more production lines in Borlänge. As a manager, you will be responsible for a team that today consists of six production planners. The production planning section is still relatively new, so a big part of the position will be to continue to build up the new section in skills, structure and work processes. You will also have an important role in the continued development/implementation of a new planning system, which is conducted in project form.
Selection and interviews are ongoing and the position may be filled before the deadline.
