Are you a careful and structured person who thrives in a laboratory environment and wants to contribute to high quality in the analysis work? We are now looking for a laboratory technician for our laboratory in Luleå.

In the role, you work with sampling, sample preparation and analyzes of various types of samples such as water, gases and by-products. You will be part of a team of laboratory technicians and laboratory engineers where quality, collaboration and continuous improvement are in focus.

The work involves both routine analyzes and participation in development and improvement work linked to the laboratory's methods and equipment. You will also have contact with internal customers and help to ensure that analyzes and results are of high quality according to current standards and procedures.

Your main responsibilities

  • Perform sampling, sample preparation and analysis according to established routines and schedule
  • Report analysis results and have a dialogue with customers about analyses and results
  • Check, calibrate and perform simple maintenance and troubleshooting of laboratory instruments and equipment
  • Participate in the introduction of new analytical methods, equipment and improvement work
  • Report deviations and contribute to the development of routines, instructions and working methods
  • Instruct and supervise new employees and contribute to order and order in the laboratory

About you

  • You have a high school education with a focus on science or technology, or experience of laboratory work
  • You have good computer skills and master Swedish in speech and writing and can read and understand simpler technical English
  • It is meritorious if you have knowledge of quality work according to ISO 17025 and ISO 9001
  • As a person, you are careful, responsible and work in a structured way
  • You are easy to cooperate, communicate and create good relationships
  • You enjoy working both independently and in teams and have an interest in continuous improvement
