As a Condition Inspector at the Coke Factory, you mainly work with carrying out and developing Condition Inspection rounds.

It also includes documenting results, analyzing disturbances, proposing corrective measures and updating documentation.

About the service

Your tasks include, among other things, carrying out and developing Condition Control rounds within the Coking Plant area and documenting the results from these. You assist in setting up preventive maintenance and help keep checklists for preventive maintenance up to date. As a permit inspector, you follow up, analyze disturbances and problems within your own area and propose corrective measures.

You will also contribute to keeping plant registers, drawings, spare parts, work descriptions, lubrication schedules and other documentation pertaining to the area's equipment up to date, as well as making sure to establish long-term maintenance plans.

The work includes participating in projects that work to improve the facilities' accessibility.

About you

  • High school education with machine shop orientation or equivalent, preferably with vibration training.
  • If you are used to working with maintenance services or have knowledge of facilities, it is advantageous.
  • Since permit control work is largely aimed at increased personal safety and operational reliability, you must be thorough, safety-conscious and responsible.
  • Since there are customer contacts and some report writing, both internally and externally in the work, it is important that you are able to express yourself easily, both verbally and in writing.
