In Maintenance Hot Rolling, about 45 people work with mechanical and electrical maintenance. As support, there are also coordinators, preparers and technicians.

As a lubricator with us at operational maintenance, you mainly carry out work with preventive maintenance, condition checks and remedial maintenance of all existing mechanical equipment in the field and are therefore an important cog in the preventive maintenance work at SSAB Borlänge.

The tasks include troubleshooting, carrying out maintenance measures, reading drawings, root cause analyses, planning and preparation in the IFS maintenance system of your own work. You will also be involved in improvement work and projects.

The working hours are daytime with the possibility of flex.

Interviews will take place on an ongoing basis and the position may be filled before the deadline.

About you

• We are looking for you who have a suitable technical education at least at upper secondary level or equivalent documented knowledge, or you have experience of lubrication work in the process industry.
• Since you work daily in our maintenance system IFS, good computer skills are a requirement.
• You have good knowledge of the Swedish language to absorb written information.
• Experience of work as a lubricator and knowledge of lubrication systems is highly meritorious.
• If you have previous knowledge of tribology, mechanics, hydraulics and pneumatics, this is meritorious.
• As a person, we see that you have the ability to work both independently and in groups.
• You can take your own initiative and be a driving force in the work when the situation requires.
• As you will work closely with both internal and external colleagues, we are looking for you who are communicative and feel confident in contacting different roles and positions within the business, both internal and external, and enjoy new challenges in everyday life.
