Are you interested in working in maintenance with lubrication/tribology? Then we have the position for you! As a lubricator, you will work with maintaining and lubricating machines and equipment to ensure their optimal function and create a high operational availability in our production facilities. Location Oxelösund.

About the position

Together with your colleagues, you will work with maintenance activities in the form of, among other things, FU rounds according to the list, component replacements and perform troubleshooting linked to lubrication equipment. In order for us to constantly improve and contribute to a safe and attractive workplace, an important part of the work is to participate in root cause analysis when problems arise in the plants.

You may have worked in other technical areas than lubrication before, but your interest in technology and mechanics is great. To thrive and function well in the role, you are meticulous, independent, analytical and easy to work with others. You are flexible and thorough and realize the importance of preventive work. As much documentation is done digitally in our UH system, you need to be comfortable using computers.

Your main responsibilities

  • Preventive maintenance in the form of lubrication and inspections
  • Participate in planning various actions during maintenance stops
  • Rounding for preventive maintenance and continuous supervision.
  • Documentation of maintenance work.


About you

  • Completed technical upper secondary education with a focus on mechanics, workshop, industry, vehicles or equivalent (or experience of industrial maintenance in the process industry that we consider equivalent.
  • Driving license is good as we move around a large area at SSAB.


Additional for the position:

  • Experience in component lubrication, oil analysis, mechanical maintenance.
  • Knowledge of various central lubrication systems and their functions.
  • Competence in Tribology, preventive maintenance and knowledge in the maintenance system IFS.
