The most important task of the Operational Maintenance department is to ensure the stable operation of our production lines. As a maintenance engineer in the Hot Rolling and Formats department, you will play an important role in developing maintenance together with your coworkers. Training others and developing our maintenance systems is a natural part of your work. By working fact-based and goal-driven, you direct your efforts where they are needed most.

You work during the day, on site in Borlänge and will have many contacts both internally and externally.

Your main responsibilities

  • Develop and improve preventive maintenance on the section.
  • Analyze relevant data, perform criticality analysis and drive/participate in root cause analysis.
  • Be a technical support and training resource for the entire section.

About you

  • You have a technical upper secondary education or technical post-secondary education
  • You have previous experience working in maintenance systems
  • You have a technical understanding of mechanical maintenance
  • You have good knowledge of Swedish and English
  • You have a Bdriving license
  • If you are a certified maintenance technician, it is meritorious
  • Previous experience of working in heavy industry is meritorious
  • Previous experience of training others in maintenance is meritorious
  • You have good communication skills and are easy to collaborate
  • You have an analytical ability
