About the service

SSAB Luleå is facing an exciting future where we will restructure our entire existing operations, we will build a brand new production plant with steel mill, hot rolling and cold rolling and continue SSAB's journey towards fossil-free steel production.

In our new facility, great emphasis will be placed on how we conduct our preventive and remedial maintenance, how we ensure high availability and work with continuous improvements.

We are therefore looking for you who are passionate about maintenance. In this position, you get to investigate, plan, structure and, in close collaboration with current production, develop a strategy for how world-class maintenance is best carried out in our future steel production.

Your main areas of responsibility

  • Develop a maintenance strategy together with existing maintenance development.
  • Develop a structure and working method for maintenance to optimize availability.
  • Benchmark against other operations within SSAB.
  • Development of which roles in maintenance will be required in our future fossil-free steel production.

About you

  • We are looking for someone who is proactive, a good organizer, takes responsibility and sees knowledge exchange as a matter of course.
  • You have post-secondary education in maintenance and/or documented work experience of corresponding tasks.
  • You are used to expressing yourself in English both orally and in writing
