As Section Manager for Maintenance Media at the Steelworks, you lead a group consisting of five media mechanics and one technician. You are responsible for the working environment, operational safety, budget, investments and management of the facilities within Media Steelworks. The role requires a coaching and present leadership where you work together with your employees to develop both working methods and facilities.

You are part of the management team for Maintenance Steelworks and are a key person in driving safety and operational safety forward.

The working hours are daytime.

Your main responsibilities

  • Create short and long-term maintenance and investment plans.
  • Follow up and ensure the function and operational safety of the facilities.
  • Develop methods and working methods for remedial and preventive maintenance.
  • Drive improvement work linked to operational stability and plant performance.
  • Act as a role model and driving force in safety work.
  • Active participation in the development of the maintenance organization at the Swedish Steelworks.

About you

  • You are a committed, confident and clear leader. You enjoy developing both people and technology, and have the ability to create commitment and participation in the group.
  • You have a good technical understanding and a genuine interest in processes and facilities, as well as a strong safety awareness.
  • You are flexible and easily adapt when conditions, priorities or tasks change.
  • You have a natural commitment and are motivated by contributing to results and development in the business.
  • You are fluent in spoken and written Swedish and have basic knowledge of English.
  • Experience as a manager or leader, preferably in industry, production or maintenance is an advantage.
