As head of the section, you will work with a focus on leadership and development of staff and operations. You will lead a team of 6 people, both civil servants and collective employees. The section is a support function that works comprehensively on issues relating to roads, railways and public utilities (plan). You and your team will have a holistic perspective for the production site Borlänge based on the section's area of responsibility.

You will, together with your team, be a technical advisor to internal and external parties within the area of responsibility. In the role of Head of Rail, Road and Plan, you will contribute with your expertise in road design in, among other things, road and rail projects.

Your main responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize and lead the section's staff and work environment work.
• Create and follow up on goals for the section.
• Drive improvement work in the area together with your colleagues, where you are expected to develop the business based on laws, strategies, processes and goals.
• Budget responsibility with financial follow-ups and contract owners within the section's operations.
• Have overall and long-term facility responsibility for the maintenance and development of the facilities within the area of responsibility.
• Based on laws and SSAB's transition, create the best infrastructure for the production site Borlänge.
• You lead the work with our infrastructure from budget to execution.

About you

• You have post-secondary education in one of the areas, Road, Rail or Civil Engineering,
• alternatively, experience in Road, Rail or Civil Engineering in a senior position.
• You have good collaboration skills as you will be working with other functions at SSAB in the collaboration areas that exist regarding infrastructure.
• The work is in many ways a service work towards SSAB Borlänge, which requires structure, flexibility and commitment.
• You have experience as a leader and create commitment in your employees and make them grow in their roles.
• As a person, you are open, engaging, driving and act based on SSAB's management philosophy.
• You are service-oriented, flexible and have good prioritization skills where you make decisions based on the overall perspective.
• You are easy to communicate with people at different levels and in different roles, both internally and externally, and you have good communication skills in both speech and writing.
