Becoming part of the SSAB family means joining a journey. A journey that we believe is crucial for the future of the planet and sustainability. Steel has been one of the most important materials for the development of our society and will continue to be so in the future. In our homes, in bridges connecting our cities and in the cars of tomorrow. At SSAB, we are proud of our history and our leadership in high strength steel. We have therefore developed the world's first fossil-free process for steel production and are committed to becoming largely fossil-free. As part of SSAB, you will be important in realizing this goal and thus contribute to a green transition of the entire steel industry.

During the employment period, you will perform both preventive and remedial maintenance, troubleshooting, minor modifications and installations on our cranes. The mechanical group consists of six mechanics who work closely with the electrical group and with the support of our technicians.

  • Participate in solving malfunctions and work preventively to avoid recurring errors.
  • Work safely, show commitment and be careful.

About you

  • You can work in a team but also drive work independently.
  • You have good social skills.
