About the service

As an operational buyer, you work with the operational purchasing process in a cost-effective manner. You ensure that the customer receives the right delivery at the right time in accordance with the applicable agreement and terms.

You manage a high flow of purchase orders. In this flow, it is important to handle any deviations from our suppliers and to have a continuous dialogue with our customers regarding ongoing orders as well as agreements and prices. You also create quotation requests, negotiate and write agreements.

It is also expected that you actively work to lower the cost level of purchased goods and services in order to best meet SSAB's needs.

About you

  • You have education with a focus on purchasing or finance.
  • If you have experience for previous work in purchasing, this is advantageous.
  • You have good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing.
  • You have the ability to analyze and prioritize based on an overall perspective and take your own initiative.
  • You have good communication skills and can easily cooperate with others.
