We are now looking for a shift operator for the Media section, which supplies SSAB in Borlänge with energy in the form of steam, hot water, and energy gases. The section also handles cooling and process water.

Our operations are conducted around the clock, every day of the week. Together with your colleagues, you will ensure that our production facilities are operated and monitored in a safe, efficient and environmentally friendly manner.

In addition to operation and monitoring, self-inspection and continuous supervision are included according to established plans.

The working hours are shifts and involve both day, night and weekend work.

Your main responsibilities

• Operation and monitoring including rounding.
• Shutdown and reset during maintenance jobs.
• Process optimization and plant efficiency.
• Operator maintenance, self-monitoring and continuous supervision.

About you

• We are looking for you who have relevant education or worked with the heating and power generation industry experience of similar facilities and that you are certified boiler operator category class 1 is meritorious.
• As a person, you are driven by a result and goal-oriented approach and have the strength to handle demanding situations and take full responsibility.
• You are communicative, have a high safety mindset and value cooperation with others.
• Driving license B is a requirement.

• You are responsible, meticulous and understand the importance of work being carried out with good quality and in safe conditions.
