Becoming part of the SSAB family means joining a journey. A journey that we believe is crucial for the future of the planet and sustainability. Steel has been one of the most important materials for the development of our society and will continue to be so in the future. In our homes, in bridges connecting our cities and in the cars of tomorrow. At SSAB, we are proud of our history and our leadership in high strength steel. At the same time, we are aware that steel production is one of the industries that emits the most greenhouse gases in the world. This must change. We have therefore developed the world's first fossil-free process for steel production and are committed to becoming largely fossil-free. As part of SSAB, you will be important in realizing this goal and thus contribute to a green transition of the entire steel industry.

Your role is to provide managers and employees with support via our Payroll Helpdesk questions about pay, time and travel systems as well as being in contact with our payroll provider.

The work tasks consist of administration before and after pre/post payroll routines and daily system actions in our time accounting system and travel accounting system. In the role, you alternate with operational issues, improvement work and various projects and as a natural part of your work you constantly challenge set working methods to streamline and develop our service to the organization.

About you

  • To succeed in the role, you should have experience in payroll and administrative work.
  • As a person, you are confident in yourself, have high integrity and create trust in the meeting with others.
