Are you the one?

Do you want to help create the flows of the future? We are now looking for a planning specialist for SSAB Special Steels.

Are you curious about how sales and production are connected and like to have a central role in the planning work? Then this could be your next challenge! We are looking for a planning specialist to join our team within Master Planning Special Steels. With us, you will work closely with both Supply Chain and SSAB's production organization - with many contact areas and the opportunity to influence. Your workplace will be in Oxelösund, where you, together with committed colleagues, contribute to creating efficient and sustainable planning.

Becoming part of the SSAB family means joining a journey. A journey that we believe is crucial for the future of the planet and sustainability. Steel has been one of the most important materials for the development of our society and will continue to be so in the future. In our homes, in bridges connecting our cities and in the cars of tomorrow. At SSAB, we are proud of our history and our leadership in high strength steel. At the same time, we are aware that steel production is one of the industries that emits the most greenhouse gases in the world. This must change. We have therefore developed the world's first fossil-free process for steel production and are committed to becoming largely fossil-free. As part of SSAB, you will play an important role in realizing this goal and thus contribute to the green transition of the entire steel industry.

Your main task is to balance demand and capacity for the plant in Oxelösund. You will do this by analyzing data, simulating different scenarios and leading meetings where we together develop the master plan for production.

The mission of the Master Planning team is to ensure that we reach our sales targets by using capacity optimally - both in Scandinavia and America. You will also be involved in developing our planning system for Oxelösund.

You will report to Corinna, Head of Master Planning Special Steels, and work in a team characterized by collaboration and unpretentiousness. Communication is in both Swedish and English.

Your main responsibilities

  • Provide decision support to the Special Steels management team.
  • Have a close contact with our global sales organization, Supply Chain and production planning.
  • Contribute with new ideas and perspectives in our monthly S&OP process that is constantly evolving.

About you

  • You need to have a university degree or equivalent experience.
  • You are confident in Excel and like to develop your skills.
  • To succeed in the role, you need to be a team player who enjoys networking in an international environment.
  • We value if you are open, responsible and self-driven - and build trust through clear communication.
  • We believe that your personality and potential are at least as important as your experience. If you think the role sounds exciting - don't hesitate to apply!

Our offer

At SSAB, diversity and inclusion are part of our culture. We apply our values - driven, genuine and ahead of the curve - in our daily decision-making, always with the customer in focus. This makes us all team players, with a common drive to improve. When you join SSAB, you will be part of an organization of passionate problem solvers working together on important challenges. We will support your growth by offering a safe and friendly workplace that is conducive to work-life balance. At SSAB, you will have the opportunity to broaden your knowledge and grow.

We offer a wide range of valued benefits to our employees. Here are some examples:

Some words from your future manager

"It is I, Corinna, who can be your next manager. The most important thing for me in my work, besides the focus on safety, is that there is a spirit of progress and a drive to improve. Improvements should be driven by each individual and together. That's why it's important to build trust between each other in the team and me as a manager. Everyone should feel that they have a mandate to make their own decisions. Well-being is another aspect that I value highly. It should be FUN to come to work and there needs to be time to help each other and laugh together. I believe in a good work-life balance so that we as a team can succeed in our mission together."
