About the position

As a development engineer, you will play a central role in our work to identify, analyze and correct quality deficiencies. You will:

  • Develop documentation and perform analysis of quality deficiencies using analytical tools to create a clear picture of the current situation and identify areas for improvement
  • Support the identification of quality deficiencies in collaboration with the business and help create a culture of continuous improvement
  • Assist in investigating problems and setting action plans and key figures that lead to concrete and sustainable improvements and preventive solutions.

Your main responsibilities

  • Develop, analyze and present statistics.
  • Develop improvement proposals in relevant sections
  • Present analysis and proposals to the line and possibly other stakeholders.
  • Support the respective section in case of quality deviations but also in case of new investments and implementation of new equipment.


About you

  • We believe that you are structured, analytical, driven and have good communication skills. You have experience in process development or quality work and thrive in a role where you get to collaborate with different parts of the organization
  • You have a multi-year university education, preferably with a focus on materials science, manufacturing processes or quality
  • Knowledge of steel manufacturing and experience from process development, in QA or measurement systems is an advantage
  • Your analytical skills are important and you are used to data management and to give presentations and act as a meeting leader. You have good experience of Excel
  • You need to be able to speak and write Swedish and English without difficulty.
