Cold rolling consists of the sections Pickling & Packaging, Rolling & Slitting, Annealing and Production-related Maintenance. We produce pickled, cold rolled and annealed material for internal and external customers. The Pickling & Packaging section includes two pickling lines, two packaging lines and regeneration and neutralization that purify acid and process water.

The development towards new materials with higher strength provides a challenging task in the work to constantly improve quality, productivity and availability in the lines. Our ambition is to do this in parallel with developing employees and organization towards a safe and developing work.

Your task as a quality technician is to assess and correct quality deviations on our products for a high flow efficiency and develop the quality work and its working methods.

In everyday life, you work closely with the shift teams, the management team, the entire Pickling & Packaging section and other quality technicians within SSAB. The work provides great opportunities for personal development and gives you the opportunity to grow with the task. Working hours are daytime.

About you

• You have a great interest in quality improvements and promote open dialogue and information exchange. You have a good understanding of how the production process affects quality outcomes. Training in quality management systems and/or SSAB's local quality processes is an advantage.
• We attach great importance to your personal qualities such as a sense of responsibility, initiative, ability to cooperate and that you have a systematic approach to work. You will find it easy to communicate with people at different levels and in different roles.
• We would like you to have an upper secondary education or practical experience, good computer skills and a good ability to express yourself in speech and writing.
