About the Position

The Vehicle Workshop is responsible for the maintenance and repair of heavy vehicles and machinery, which are a vital part of the business’s daily operations. Here, we work closely with the business to perform both preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure high availability and operational reliability.

As a vehicle mechanic with us, you’ll have a varied and hands-on role involving troubleshooting, servicing, repairs, and maintenance of equipment such as dump trucks, wheel loaders, excavators, forklifts, and trucks. The work involves both mechanical and technical tasks, giving you the opportunity to apply and develop your skills in several areas.

The role involves close collaboration with colleagues, and you’ll become part of a dedicated team focused on teamwork, problem-solving, and safety. The work schedule is K2 shifts. Your main responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting, servicing, repairs, and maintenance on heavy-duty vehicles and machinery

• Perform both preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure operational reliability and availability

• Plan and prepare work in collaboration with the department’s schedulers

• Collaborate with the business unit and other functions to carry out work safely and efficiently

• Contribute to improvement initiatives and the development of work methods within the workshop

About You

• We are looking for someone with a technical education in automotive technology specializing in heavy-duty vehicles or equivalent documented experience

• You have a genuine interest in technology and enjoy hands-on work involving troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs

• You work responsibly, meticulously, and prioritize safety in your daily work

• You are service-oriented, down-to-earth, and collaborate easily with both colleagues and other contacts within the organization

• You have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Experience or expertise in areas such as automotive electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics, diagnostics, welding, or working with maintenance systems such as IFS is a plus.

• A Class B driver’s license is required

• You have a good command of spoken and written Swedish and English
