Are you the one?

A transport planner, you will work with the planning of transports from the loading warehouse to the customer and warehouse for our products. You will be part of a team of transport planners working with rail, truck, ship, container and air planning. We offer challenging work at a high pace that provides an overview of SSAB's material flows from plants all the way to the end customer or warehouse. Location Borlänge.

About the position

Transport Planning is part of the Supply Chain Management department. Transportation planning is responsible for the material from the time it is ready to be loaded in the finished goods warehouse until it reaches the customer. As a transport planner, your main task is to coordinate the planning of truck, boat, container, air and rail freight.

You will be in the middle of the operational transport planning and have a large contact network and frequent contacts both internally within SSAB and with our suppliers.

The working hours are daytime and the position is permanent.

Your main responsibilities

  • Planning of outbound shipments
  • Daily contact with internal and external stakeholders
  • Handling of export documents


About you

  • Thrive in a dynamic environment and can handle multiple tasks in parallel
  • You are service-oriented and are used to working in digital systems and tools tools
  • You communicate fluently in both spoken and written English and Swedish
  • You have a willingness to learn new things and see new opportunities
  • If you have a degree in logistics or equivalent work experience, this is an advantage
