As a work environment engineer at Work Environment & Health, you are an expert resource that supports the business in preventing illness and accidents and promoting health for individuals, groups and organizations. You alternate independent work with rewarding interaction across several areas of collaboration.

You contribute with fact-based information: you produce data, analyze trends and make the complex understandable to others. You have contacts with authorities and the outside world and can also act as an internal auditor. On a day-to-day basis, you will work closely with work environment engineers, work environment technicians and chemical engineers. Our section also includes the training activities at the wellness center where the operations manager and service men work.

Your main responsibilities

  • Be expert support in the field of occupational health and safety and work environment legislation.
  • Contribute to our active, systematic and improvement-oriented work (SAM) - with both structure and behaviors in place.
  • Support the organization in investigations, controls, risk assessments and surveys.
  • Develop data and analyze risk patterns, trends and effects - create fact-based decision-making.
  • Design information material, guiding/supporting documents and conduct training or forums with groups.
  • Be a contact person with authorities (mainly the Swedish Work Environment Authority).

About you

We are looking for you who combine competence, strong interaction with others and analytical height.

Your qualifications

  • University / college education with a work environment focus or other equivalent education, or well-documented experience with equivalent competence.
  • Several years of experience in the relevant field
  • Good ability to communicate easily and accessibly in both Swedish and English
