We are looking for a professionally competent and dedicated program manager who will be responsible for program content, quality, and regulations related to financial social assistance. You will work in a multidisciplinary environment with a focus on collaboration and user participation.
Job Responsibilities
- Financial social assistance, counseling and guidance, and other services under the Social Services Act
- Process cases and draft decisions
- Identify resources, opportunities, and needs
- Provide guidance to visitors at our public service center regarding NAV’s service areas
- Provide comprehensive guidance and follow-up for residents as they work toward employment, education, and active participation
- Professional responsibility for financial social assistance
- Ensure proper case management, high quality, and consistent practices
- Participate in development and improvement efforts
- Other tasks as needed
Qualifications
- You have completed relevant higher education at the bachelor’s level or higher, for example in social work, social welfare, law, economics, or social sciences
- You have experience in counseling, motivational support, and change management
- You have experience with financial social assistance, administration, and the application of laws
- You are skilled at communicating both verbally and in writing in Norwegian
