Holmlund kindergarten is a 5-section kindergarten located in Ottestad, near Hoberg school, and in the immediate vicinity of the forest with good hiking areas. The kindergarten's focus areas are inclusive kindergarten environments, and we work to ensure that all children feel included and part of a community.

We emphasize that the children should experience varied and positive activities both indoors and outdoors. The kindergarten's outdoor area and the forest in the immediate vicinity give the children a variety of experiences and activity opportunities. Children and adults will experience days characterized by play, wonder, learning and joy. Together, we will create good experiences, magical moments and everyone will have the opportunity to become the best version of themselves.

We are looking for you who want to work as a child and youth worker/assistant in Holmlund kindergarten and who want to mean something extra for our children and their development.

• 100% position in Holmlund kindergarten from 01.08.26

In addition, we are looking for child and youth workers/assistants in short or longer temporary positions from 01.08.26 in Holmlund and in several of our kindergartens in Stange municipality.

The applicant list can be used in the event of vacancies in similar positions in Stange municipality's kindergartens up to and including 31.08.26

Tasks

• Together with other employees, you will contribute to the educational work and ensure that the Kindergarten Act and the framework plan are fulfilled.
• Together with other employees, you will work to ensure that children's needs for care and play are taken care of, and that children's best interests are a fundamental consideration in all work.
  
• Be a safe and warm caregiver and role model for the children.
• Be a good language model for the children.
• Share responsibility for creating a good climate of cooperation for children and adults.
• Collaborate with parents and other support services.

Qualifications

• A professional certificate as a child and youth worker is desirable.
• Is committed, interested and motivated.
• Is independent and has good collaboration skills.
• Takes responsibility and is a caring adult.
• Passed Norwegian test A2 written and B1 oral, must be documented in application.
• Police certificate must be presented before starting.

• Reflective and confident adult, who is generous with diversity and inclusion.
• Good at child-adult relationships, and committed to a good collaboration with parents, the kindergarten and other employees.
• You are a starter of activities together with children.
