About me:
I am a teenage girl who is now looking for a female assistant for my BPA scheme! I go to school, and I need someone to assist me when I come home from school. I use a wheelchair a lot and need assistance with transfers. I love animals and have a cat. I am creative, and love to use my hands for different shaping activities, drawing, baking and cooking, and hope you have a lot of good ideas for what we can do, as I may need you to take some initiative for activities. I also like to go out sometimes, for example swimming, theater, cinema or shopping. When you get to know me, you'll see that I have a great sense of humor and I love to joke around. And if we're going on a trip, I have my own adapted car that you have to drive.
Brief about user-controlled personal assistance (BPA):
BPA is an alternative way of organizing practical and personal assistance services for people with disabilities and a high need for assistance in daily life, both inside and outside the home. The aim is to help people with assistance needs to lead an active and as independent life as possible despite their disability. BPA means that the user (or close relatives) has the role of work manager and assumes responsibility for organization and content based on their own needs
