The position is organized under the Production Kitchen which is centrally located in Stange. The entire unit has approx. 19 man-years divided between management, production kitchen, two reception kitchens with canteens, two ordinary canteens and food delivery/distribution. The production kitchen delivers food to the municipality's institutions, reception kitchens and people living at home. The food is produced using the cook/chill method. The production kitchen prepares the food largely from scratch. We want our new employee to enjoy contributing to good food care and clean premises.

The production kitchen has good partners and volunteers, which is essential to succeed with good food and meal experiences for those who, for various reasons, cannot cook their own food. The production kitchen's management works extensively to increase recruitment to the profession and offers apprenticeships. In addition, we work actively with schools, Nav and work integration companies.

Tasks

• Lubrication of offers for the canteen counter
• Heating and serving hot food
• Receiving/rolling and packing orders for nursing home departments
• Cleaning of common areas and canteen/kitchen and compliance with the current HACCP-IK-food system

Qualifications

• Experience and interest in cooking and cleaning as well as knowledge of special diets
• Good Norwegian oral and written presentation skills as you work alone on weekends and holidays
• Comfortable working at the checkout and customer service

• You contribute to a good working environment and tolerate working days with varying loads
• You communicate well with colleagues, managers and other professionals you interact with, and respect differences with your generosity
• You are comfortable working alone and in smaller work environments
