
We are looking for a new case officer for the Management Unit! As a case manager, you will be part of an interdisciplinary team with committed employees. The position involves daytime work with a 37.5-hour working week.
The Administration Unit is responsible for allocating health and care services to Stange municipality's residents. The department is responsible for mapping needs, making decisions and ensuring equal service provision for residents in need of services. The management unit is also responsible for providing information and guidance to residents who contact it.
The management unit is organized in the staff of the municipal head of health and coping, and the coordinating unit is part of the department. The management unit currently consists of 14.4 full-time equivalents divided between case officers, technical coordinators, administrative staff and a manager.
As a caseworker, you will map, process and guide citizens who are in need of, or have applied for, health and coping services.
You work both in teams and independently and make decisions on the municipality's services. Complaints handling is also included in the case processing. You must use your professional expertise and work closely with the municipality's residents, colleagues in your own business and other partners inside and outside the municipality. As a caseworker, you'll be on the move a lot and your working day will include home visits, meetings with residents and their relatives, collaboration meetings and, as part of a team, you'll be responsible for electronic message exchange with hospitals. The days are varied and full of professional and exciting challenges.
